How do we find the period of a tan graph? Like y = 3tan(2x) for example

Hi! There’s a formula to get the period of a tan graph: it’s pi/b, where b is the coefficient of x in the equation.

So, in your example, b would be 2 (it’s in front of x), so the period of that graph would be pi/2.
